My Setup in Spain...
Mijas Costa, Malaga....
In 2003 I had virtually given up breeding Budgies but in 2005, with this Budgie bug still inside me, I brought some back to Casa Katrin. At first, I was going to set them up in my garage but when I studied my interior patio, situated next to my lounge, I thought this was perfect for a small stud of Budgies. The slide show will show you my progress and I hope in time some quality Budgies will be bred in the sunshine of the Costa del Sol.
The interior Patio is separated by sliding glass doors from my lounge. It is open to the sky and has a tiled floor that slopes to a drain so hosing down and keeping the floor clean is a two minute job. Dust is non- existent and I have had no health problems with the Budgies. They are all in cages and seem perfectly happy. I enjoy photography so watch this space for development.
